While every one else is quickly jumping on the bandwagon of Christmas decor before Halloween had even hit, Columbus Circle has taken a different route. A pair of giant elephants by Peter Woytuk have been placed in the circle. I don’t get it, but I like it. We had beautiful, crisp fall weather here yesterday, so I gladly wore a light jacket and layers to cuddle up to this big guy. By layering a button down under a warm weather dress of your choice, summer pieces are revitalized for fall in a snap. Wooly socks and booties fit for a hike, in appearance not actual functionality, added a final punch to the look. If only I could figure out how to sit on top of the elephants, I would be all set.
