In the midst of snow storm after relentless snow storm, it’s easy to fall into a rut, wearing the same uniform day in and day out. Toss on a sweater with leather pants one day followed by a skirt, tights and yet another sweater the next. This past weekend, I had a girl crush moment when a fabulous neighbor strolled by in a chiffon summer dress, fur jacket and Doc Martens. Talk about effortless cool. I played off of her weekend get up, but dressed up the concept with over-the-knee boots and a blazer. I plan to try it her way as soon as the clock strikes Friday!
