Like any small space, it’s crucial in a New York apartment that every square inch is both aesthetically pleasing and functional. Exhibit A: the built in “closet wall” that holds my wardrobe – only in New York. I recently realized that my room was desperate for a little sprucing so that the little time I do spend there could feel a bit more zen. I called on my friend and interior designer, Laura Schilling, to whip it into shape. She added a funky collage of framed prints with a deer head at its center, mounted my tv and revamped the wall behind my bed. I love the results and am much more apt to spend an evening lounging in my new room!
