As tempting as it was to go with a Canadian tuxedo here, I decided on white denim paired with a mixed chambray button down to get a little fresh air. A statement necklace and a patterned pump spiced up this otherwise basic look. It’s been a wild ride here in New York for the last couple of days. I made it back into the city from my friend’s wedding in Alabama by the skin of my teeth on Sunday before the storm hit. Luckily, I still have power and my apartment is intact, but my thoughts and prayers are with all of those who were less fortunate in the face of Sandy.
