I will never forget my first encounter with polka dots. It was school picture day circa 1993 for my kindergarten class, and my mom hooked me up with the cutest navy dress with white spots. It had an empire waist and the hemline hit right above my knees, and I felt oh-so-cool in my red Keds and coordinating red bow to match. Kudos to my mom for this stroke of styling genius.

I never thought I’d see the day, but this season the aforementioned spots are back in full force for adults and kindergartners alike. I love this dress that I recently picked up for its sheer accents, open back, and great price point. I’ve also rounded up some other great polka dots that caught my eye around the internet.
