It’s no secret that I have a serious love for shoes with a personality—from major metalics to animal prints and beyond. While I’ll have plenty of out-of-the-box options, sometimes I struggle to find the right wear-everywhere shoes for each season. I remember during one of my first winters in New York, I struggled for weeks to locate the right heels to wear for casual weekend happenings that weren’t too over-the-top. By the end of the process my entire office knew about my relentless search for the perfect “brunch bootie.” I ended up with a great calf hair wedge bootie in the end. Phew.
This spring, thanks to Luxury Garage Sale, I’ve locked in the ideal all-occasion shoe early. These Pierre Hardy wedges have a moderate heel height, plus all the right detailing—rose gold accents and an architectural shape—to excite me every time I slip them on. Here, I styled them with a spring-ready dress and a staple jean jacket, but I can’t wait to wear them with simple weekend looks for an elevated finish. Redefining business in the front, party in back.
