I capped off a relaxing weekend with a little Sunday night baking. My darling mom sent me these peaches in the mail last week and wanted to make the best possible use out of them while I could. The mix of almond and vanilla extracts and a dash of cinnamon in the dough (made from this recipe) made for a welcome change in comparison to other scones I’ve tried. In the interest of my diet for a trip to Miami in a couple of weeks, I’ll be pawning these yummy treats off on my co-workers. I don’t think they’ll mind!
