Usually, my style sits at the cross-section between über feminine and over-the-top glam—with romantic mini dresses, statement heels and polished rompers sitting at the top of my list. At the same time, I’m not one to shy away from trying something new when it comes to my wardrobe. This season, borrowed-from-the-boys outerwear has quickly become the ideal piece for transitioning into spring, and I just couldn’t help myself. I tossed this Opening Ceremony bomber jacket over a white denim skirt and a plaid tunic that wrapped around my waist to create a hi-low effect. in the mood for: the bomber jacket
Tunic Styling Trick: Since long line blouses and tunics were a major trend for fall and winter, I wanted to share an easy way to put them to use this spring. Pair with a skirt or shorts and cross the front panels over each other and tie in the back. Tuck the ends of the knot so it lays flat, then just drop the back over it to hide. And voila—one top becomes two!
