It’s official. The one shoulder top is the new off-the-shoulder top. As we all know, the off-the-shoulder silhouette was absolutely everywhere this past spring and summer—from Tibi and Chloè to Zara and H&M. While I loved letting my shoulders run free, my shirting routine was in need of a shake up for the season ahead. Enter stage left: the off-the-shoulder’s chic, one-shouldered cousin.
For a day at the office, I paired this budget-friendly version of this Johanna Ortiz top with an equally asymmetric skirt and snakeskin pumps. I love how the top and skirt are interesting enough on their own, yet come together to make a perfectly unexpected combination. I’m still deciding what beauty looks work best with my new hair color, but one thing’s for certain—a red lip works every time.
