Only after I threw on this outfit this morning, did I notice its subtle utilitarian vibe. The sweet floral skirt, mixed with the boxy cut of the top and olive booties, create a militaristic look without being too over the top. After all, I want to support our troops, not dress like them. It will take some getting used to now that dusk is arriving before the work day ends, but I’m looking forward to the changes this fall will bring. So I’ll grab my sweaters, tights, and plenty of pumpkin spice lattes and brace myself for a wild ride!
