Searching for Mother’s Day gifts feels extra special this year, as I prepare to have a couple kiddos of my own. I have such fond memories of this day, celebrating my own mom. I can’t believe that this time next year we’ll have two babies growing up right before our eyes. With everything that’s going on in the world right now, I’m so impressed by the moms who have suddenly had to juggle their own lives and commitments, along with becoming a homeschool teacher, a 24-hour chef, the house cleaner and everything in between. Moms are working overtime, so I’m excited to share my roundup of the perfect Mother’s Day gifts to stylishly brighten her day.
a-listed edit: mother’s day gifts
stay-at-home upgrades
pretty pitcher | there’s something so luxurious about making iced tea or a large batch cocktail in a pretty pitcher. pick up a couple bunches of flowers and arrange into this for mom, then she can use it for her next happy hour once the flowers go.
diptyque candle | i’ve tried every candle on earth at this point, and i always come back to this scent again and again. i love that its scent is pretty strong too. i like to really smell my money burning, you know?
bamboo serving trays | how cute are these handles? whether she’s a city dweller (hello, couch snacks!) or a suburban mom (backyard picnic please!), she’ll be excited to receive these chic and useful trays.
chic coffee table book | i have two of these destination books on my own coffee table, and am tempted to add this palm beach one to my collection just for the color alone. these are great statement books and make for the perfect pop of color in any room.
pajamas for the bookworm | yes, those are classic books, like the wizard of oz and little women, printed all over this cute, silky set. i’m absolutely obsessed, and it’s $118 for the duo.
an artful vase | i love everything about this vase for mom—the color, the graphic design, the height. it’s the perfect bright touch to the kitchen counter or a side table. try it with real flowers, or check out terrain—my favorite source for great fakes.
silk sleep mask and pillowcase | i’ve been dying to add a silk pillowcase to our bed for its anti-aging benefits. this marble print was so chic, and i know that any mom would be grateful to add a little luxury to her nighttime routine.
for the fit mom
fresh sneakers | i have been wearing apl sneakers for a few years, and find them incredibly comfortable for everything from dance cardio and boxing to running errands. i especially like this grey color, because it will work well with pants and shorts alike now that it’s warming up.
best bike shorts | these are great bike shorts both for working out and styling with oversized sweaters and tees around the house. i sized up to the medium to make mine work for my growing belly, but i think they would run true to size if you’re not pregnant.
for a backyard vacation
tropical sarong | i love the print of this sarong. it’s covered in girls in swimsuits, tropical plants and vacation-worthy cocktails. vacation vibes, found.
the cutest umbrella ever | this umbrella is cute enough to send me instantly into a daydream about having a backyard. just add a picnic and some spf.
for the traveler
cheeky travel set | even though she may not be traveling right now, make sure she’s set for her next trip with this affordable blanket and eye mask set. i love that the mask says “airplane mode” on it!
for the fashion mom
sunny straw bag | in my fantasy world, i’ll be able to use a chic bag like this as my diaper bag. i know this probably isn’t realistic, so gift this to a mom who’s been in the game for a minute with less stuff to lug around.
gemstone earrings | these are great for every day and statement-making all at once. they also look really expensive for the price point. win, win.
sentimental necklace | this necklace is so sweet that i teared up when i found it. i think it’s the pregnancy hormones, but you can’t go wrong with giving this one.
