No matter what’s on the agenda, this is my fall and winter weekend uniform—a cozy sweater, leather pants and a long-line coat. For a day of wine tasting on the North Fork of Long Island, I excavated this look from the depths of last year’s winter wear. If you’re looking for a big city break or even visiting the city from out of town this fall, I highly recommend renting a car and taking a day trip to the vineyards of Long Island. Our favorites are Croteaux, which specializes in rosè, and McCall, whose Cabernet Sauvignon is absolutely delicious. Cheers!
