During the holidays, gingerbread gets it’s fifteen minutes of fame as the poster child of Christmas cheer. With all the candy adorned houses being built and the little men being backed, I decided to mix it up in true cupcake form. Not only did my apartment smell jolly with these guys in the oven, they came out with a decadent, spicy flavor. I used this recipe from trusty Martha and traditional buttercream frosting borrowed from local hot spot, Magnolia Bakery. This charming decor set is sure to make your next treat a surefire smash, regardless of the taste.
