An overtly feminine jacket and candy-colored minaudière elevated distressed denim for dinner with friends at The Standard Grill last weekend. My love for dressed up jeans originates from my obsession with this shot of the Olsens back in 2011. I think I wore jean shorts with pointy pumps every night out for a year after that one surfaced. Anywho, denim just always feels right in the cozy, downtown interior that makes The Standard one of my go-to New York restaurants.
