For someone who is truly not a pants person, the jumpsuit is the ideal starter kit. I can just throw it on and go, much like it’s trusty cousin — the dress. Being just under five feet tall, any pant I buy is absolutely taking a trip to the tailor. This hassle has always been a deterrent for me, since I want to wear any new additions to my closet immediately. For this wood-grain (or surfbordt) print jumpsuit, I sought out an express tailor in the East Village and have worn it to both a pool party in Miami and under a leather jacket in New York. As it turns out, patience (or an express tailor) is a virtue, after all.
