What better way to celebrate Valentine’s Day than with cookie replicas of this classic candy? This recipe from Martha Stewart is easy to follow and certainly crafty. Once I tasted the dough, I knew I was in for a real treat (I kept sneaking tastes of it!). Topped with colorful royal icing, these little morsels will be brightening up my kitchen for the rest of the week. The finished product came out soft and buttery, just how a sugar cookie should be. And the good news is that this recipe makes a ton of icing, so I’ll be putting on everything for the next couple of weeks. Icing sandwich anyone?
