To take this pleated leather skirt from Little House on the Prairie to city slicker, I paired it with a lace tank top and a metallic belt to create a neutral canvas. I built upon that with bright add ons – a bold cardigan, neon detailing and purple sandals. I got these sandals for Christmas this year and have just recently been putting them to good use (last seen here). I have a tendency to let pieces mellow in my closet for a while and then wear them to a point of exhaustion. Let’s just call it an acquired taste!
