In a whirl of weekend productivity, my friend and I braved the cold, took the ferry to Ikea in Brooklyn and stocked up on organizational gems to get my apartment in order. We became best friends with my pink toolbox and put together these bookcases for shoes, of course, not books. I’m already finding that it prompts me to mix up my shoe choice with them on such blatant display. ย For a Valentine’s Day splash, I added red heart shaped lights to the archway in my bedroom. Now that my room is complete and cozy, the living room is next on the makeover list with a sofa, rug and a couple of chairs in the works. Stay tuned!
