When I woke up this morning to a grey and dreary New York Saturday, I figured it was the perfect day to check out the Alexander McQueen Savage Beauty exhibit at the Met. I tossed on these breezy shorts, my go-to denim shirt and nautical blazer for the adventure. The intricacy and brilliance of each dress at the exhibit was better than the one before. Beautiful pieces such as the breathtaking butterfly headpiece, an entire dress made out of tiny pheasant feathers, and the armadillo shoes from his final collection all showcased his incredible talent and craftmanship. I certainly left in awe of his vision. I could get used to sitting on these steps. Move over Little J!
