Going into the wedding planning process, I was most excited about deciding what to wear for each bridal occasion—from the perfect wedding dress to the rehearsal dinner look and, of course, all of the accessories. I went to the Moda Operandi townhouse on the Upper East Side a couple of times, before finding the one at Mark Ingram. I also had a great experience at Spina Bride.
I highly recommend going to Moda, if you are on the hunt. The best part is that you can set up an appointment with a stylist and have them pull up to 40 (yes, 40!) items from their website for you to try on. I took advantage of that option, and even tried on pieces for the rehearsal dinner and honeymoon while I was there.
My mom and sister were in town for the occasion, and they surprised me with the most hilarious score cards to hold up when I put on each dress. I couldn’t have asked for a better weekend of hunting down the dress. I’m sharing some of the outtakes from my appointment. Of course, I didn’t end up with any of the dresses I’m sharing, but I can’t wait for the big reveal in August!
