I am absolutely obsessed with the return of velvet. The fabric first entered my life in the form of a long-sleeved ballet leotard that I refused to take off for roughly the entirety of my third grade year. Needless to say, I am excitedly welcoming its resurgence with open arms. In celebration, I paired this rich, green skirt with a bow neck blouse to create a prim and proper ensemble, but also love the idea of teaming this velvet top with distressed denim and a leather jacket for a cool, rock ‘n’ roll vibe. No matter how you wear it, this must-have fabrication is just getting started.
